Art Attack!

Recycled wine bottle
Multicolored thread and wool used to cover an old wine bottle with glue.
It can be used as planter or simply for decoration. Using ropes gives a awesome
rustic look. Great creative with different colour threads. :)

Pen stand- recycled newspapers
Old newspaper rolled into circles and then put together to make a vase. They are rolled to look like small snails. The base is made in the same way, paper rolled into a circle (depending on how big you want your vase to be). You need immense patience to just keep making these rolls and can get frustrating at times. :)
Once done, colour them with acrylic colours for more durability and start attaching it to the base with an
adhesive. There would be some gaps in between the circles which can be filled with smaller circles wherever needed. Once finished coat it with varnish for better durability. This can be used as a vase, pencil stand or waste basket or storage bin.

Multi purpose stand-  Recycled Newspaper
Old newspaper were used to make rings Again quite a slow and painstaking process. Colouring each ring takes a lot of time. This was painted black and then covered with gold dust.

Papier Mache bowl
This papier mache is much simple than the usual one and takes much less effort and time to make. Take a plastic bowl, cup or any shape that you want your papier mache to be. Plastic container is  recommended because the once completed the paper comes off really easily. You need to take old newspaper and cut strips out of it. Then layer these strips on the plastic bowl one of top of the other with the help of water. These strip of paper are simply dipped in water and put on the bowl. The first five layers are done like this. Please ensure that the strips are tightly pressed and does not form any air bubbles.Let it dry for a day until it is strong enough to take the next layers. Next layers of paper strips needs to be put with glue and water. Continue layering this until it reaches the required thickness and let it dry. The plastic bowl can be taken out and more paper layers can be added. Once dry and firm, it is ready to be decorated.
